Security for information that matters.

Atlora is designed to protect the personal and professional records entrusted to us. We use practical safeguards, limited access, and accountable operations to keep that information secure.

Clear safeguards. Carefully stated.

Security is ongoing work. These are the principles that guide how we protect customer information today and how we improve Atlora over time.

Protected by encryption

Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Uploaded files and sensitive fields carry a second, independent encryption layer. Keys are managed on dedicated hardware security modules that we own and operate — never a shared cloud key service.

More detail

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with an additional envelope layer for uploaded files and sensitive fields. Key management runs on our own FIPS-validated HSMs in our colocation facility — keys never leave hardware we control.

Infrastructure we own and operate

Atlora runs on hardware we own in a U.S. data center — not on a public cloud. The database and key-management systems run on dedicated machines in their own isolated network segments. Our network edge accepts connections only from the United States, which removes most hostile traffic before it reaches the application. It also means you, and anyone you give access to, cannot reach Atlora while outside the United States.

More detail

Bare-metal database and HSM clusters sit behind hardware firewalls on segregated network segments; only the application tier can reach them, on specific ports from specific hosts. Those hosts run full-disk encryption with keys sealed in TPM. Administration happens over a physically separate management network with zero-trust access, and security events across hosts and services feed a central SIEM.

Limited and accountable access

Access is scoped by role and organization. Privileged access and material changes are recorded, so activity can be reviewed and investigated.

More detail

Authorization runs at a single enforcement perimeter — identity, role, and permission checks pass before any handler code executes. Record history is captured by the database itself, so the audit trail exists independent of application code.

Customer data remains customer data

We do not sell customer information, and we do not use customer documents or conversations to train AI models. Our privacy policy explains how information is processed and when service providers are involved.

More detail

Uploaded content is encrypted under keys scoped to your organization — one organization's keys never protect another's data. Model providers process requests under terms that prohibit training on customer content; each provider is named in the privacy policy.

Security is ongoing

We monitor the service, review access and dependencies, and improve safeguards as Atlora evolves.

More detail

The design assumes any single safeguard can fail, and layers them so one failure does not expose your data: encryption, network segmentation, and scoped access each stand on their own. Audit logging and request-level tracing mean that if something does go wrong, we can establish precisely what was affected — and tell you, rather than guess.

Direct answers to important questions.

Does Atlora train AI models on my information?

No. Atlora does not use customer documents, questions, or conversations to train AI models.

More detail

The providers involved in answering questions are identified in the privacy policy and process requests under terms that prohibit training on customer content. Search indexes built from your documents serve only your organization.

Who can access my information?

People in your organization, according to their assigned permissions. A limited number of authorized Atlora personnel may access information when needed to operate, support, or secure the service — that access is restricted and logged.

More detail

Organization membership is the isolation boundary — for a family account, the household is the organization. Roles gate individual permissions within it. Staff support access goes through an explicit, audited mechanism — there is no ambient back door.

Can Atlora support a security review?

Yes. If your organization has specific security or due-diligence requirements, contact sales@atlora.ai. We can discuss the safeguards relevant to your use of Atlora and share appropriate information directly.

Help us keep Atlora secure.
